Ōtautahi Christchurch

Ōtautahi Christchurch is the second largest city in New Zealand, located in Canterbury in the South Island Te Wai Pounamu. The city promises a blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, adventure and resilience. Whether you’re interested in outdoor activities, cultural experiences, or simply relaxing in a scenic environment, Ōtautahi Christchurch has something to offer every delegate travelling to AF2025.

Christchurch is just the beginning

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is in the heart of the city and is a special gathering place. This world-class convention centre opened in 2021 and contributes significantly to the city's regeneration and transformation and plays a key role in building lasting social, cultural, and economic connections between the region and the world. The exterior tiles represent Canterbury’s braided rivers, with the river theme carried through to the shape of the windows and the carpet design.

We are excited to be hosting you at Te Pae and its central location means you will be on the doorstep of all that Christchurch city has to offer.
