Centred on the diversity and strength of Pacific communities, and their knowledges, the workshop highlights both the socio-economic, cultural and environmental challenges facing Pacific peoples as well as the innovative adaptive responses being planned and enacted within different Pacific contexts.
Waipapa Taumata Rau/The University of Auckland invite participants to engage in creative and interactive activities designed to deepen their understanding of Pacific perspectives and foster meaningful dialogue across disciplines and sectors. The workshop brings together a vibrant mix of academics, adaptation practitioners, policy-makers, Indigenous leaders, artists, and traditional knowledge-holders to share insights, experiences, and strategies for addressing the complex challenges of climate change in the Pacific region.
